Sharper (2023) It's one of those narrative puzzles that feels like a shift from theatrical releases to streaming series in the mid-10s, so there's little enjoyment just by watching it. Move back and forth through the cons until it finally lands on the table. The problem is, Mamet's hard-to-talk puzzles are harder than they look. As for writers Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka, there's no talent in negotiating to elevate this thriller beyond its foundation.
