Automata (2014) The story takes place more than 20 years after a solar flare hits Earth. Killing over 99% of the world's population, the survivors unite in a network of safe cities and build aging humanoid robots, the Pilgrims, to help build and operate in the harsh environment. These robots have two immutable protocols: they cannot harm living beings in any form. And cannot be repaired, modified or changed by yourself.
